What is Battery?

A battery is a physical item on floors and shelves. The game says "Equip a battery to use it." Nothing happens while it sits unused. Each cell is separate. One can be dead while the next works. Players count "two and then three" as they swap. House power is the breaker and the floodlights. Batteries only feed the flashlight. They are not bought or crafted in the recorded runs.
