A night of [MONSTER REVAMP] DON'T LET HIM IN is one clock. The official description says the creature circles the house, studies mistakes, and looks for a way in. You keep the floodlights powered, watch doors and windows, restore the breaker when the power fails, and hide if it gets inside. Recorded full nights on the default house end when the clock hits 6:00 a.m.: the sun comes up, the creature runs off, and the squad returns to the lobby. There is no turn-in.
The public description still matches that loop. The live title is the Monster Revamp listing. No itemized list of what that title changed has been published, so treat any step below as the loop the description and recorded nights agree on, and recheck it if a door, light, or breaker prompt no longer matches.
Before the alert
The lobby is where the squad picks a creature and a difficulty. Recorded setups have named The Locust and The Boiled One as picks, and a rough lobby line has also offered "the boy." Spoken difficulty labels include Easy, Medium, Hard, and Nightmare. Those labels come from separate sessions, not from a captured menu screenshot, so read the buttons in your own lobby.
The night opens indoors with an emergency alert: an unidentified entity is believed to be at large, residents should stay indoors until sunrise, and unusual sounds outside are not something to investigate. That last line is also tactics. Footsteps and scratching are real cues, but the sound can seem to sit beside you while the creature is on another side of the house.
The quiet minutes
- Find the flashlight you carry into the round. It does nothing until a battery is equipped. The on-screen line is "Equip a battery to use it."
- Sweep floors and shelves for batteries while the house lights still work. Players loot them as they walk. Exact spawn points are not fixed.
- Watch the battery meter above the hotbar. There is no published minutes-per-battery number.
- Walk the house once. Learn the stairs, the front door, the side door, the sliding or glass door, upstairs and downstairs windows, and one closet. The outside breaker is part of that walk.
- If you are in a squad, split floors before the first noise. One recorded team put guards upstairs and downstairs, with one player on a named opening.
An early tip also says "Watch your noise." One hunted player was told they had been too loud. That player said they had been silent. Stay quiet because the tutorial says so. Do not treat noise as the only way a breach starts. Documented entries come from an open or unlit entrance.
The standing loop
He climbs walls and the roof and opens doors and windows himself, including the upstairs main bedroom. A shut entrance is a state you recheck, not a solved problem.
When you hear him at a door or window, or the screen says "Opening active.":
- Go to that entrance.
- Look right at him.
- Shut the door or window.
- Turn on a floodlight.
The official line under that routine is that light keeps it away, but one vulnerable entrance is enough. A lit front door does not cover an unlit upstairs window. After any trip outside, get back in and shut the door before you do anything else.
One player guessed "about 3 seconds" before he comes inside. That is one spoken estimate, not a documented timer. Move as soon as the cue starts.
When the lights die
"He cut the power" means the house lights and the floodlights are down. The breaker is outside on the house and on Snowbound Lodge. No recording pins it to a landmark, so learn the walk while you can still see.
- Do not sprint out at the instant of the cut. He is often still next to the box.
- Wait until he leaves the house. Listen, but remember the audio can lie about which wall he is on.
- Go outside and flip the fuses. Completions on video are short sequences such as "two and then three" or "one, two, three." The full switch layout is not pinned down. Work the switches in front of you until the screen confirms power restored.
- If the box will not interact, leave. One player found the prompt dead while he was nearby. Standing there is how that trip gets you caught.
- Get inside, shut the door, and sweep every entrance. Dark minutes are when windows end up open.
Fuses are finite. "I have no more fuses" is a real late-night state. A player who had burned the supply survived by staying out of the dark house until morning. A player who could not reach the box in time did not. Cuts repeat in the same night. One restore is a pause.
"If it gets inside, the house goes dark" is a separate blackout from the breaker cut. Recorded runs do not settle whether that darkness can be undone while he is still indoors. Treat an inside blackout as a breach first.
If he is already in
"Breach active" means entry has happened. Two recoveries are shown in full runs:
- Hide in a closet, locker, or other enclosed spot without letting him see you get in. Turn the flashlight off. The tutorial says he can see it. Stay quiet until he leaves.
- Step outside while he is inside, then come back after he leaves. A solo player used "If he enters, I leave" through a night, and a squad used the same trade. Outside is not safe by itself. One player who made it out was still caught in the dark. Decide the door and the waiting spot before the breach.
The pantry has been used as a group hide and has also been the room where a hiding player was killed. It is not a bunker. The shed has not been shown to open. Do not plan a hide or a totem route around it.
After he leaves, restore the breaker if it is still out, shut the door, and start the entrance sweep again. One player saw him vanish right after power returned, then break in again later. Power is your lights, not a banishing button.
Teammates and the last hour
A caught player dies on the spot. The run continues. The dead player can move as a ghost, sometimes open a door, and look for a revive totem, but at least one ghost lost in-game voice. A living teammate uses a world totem. The purchase prompt also reads "revive all fallen teammates. Buy the totem for 24." Players have called a revive cost Robux. The prompt itself does not print a currency name, so do not budget a specific currency until your own prompt labels it. If you are the last living player and you get caught, recorded runs show no self-revive.
From about 5 a.m. the loop does not change. Players have called 2 a.m., 4:52, and "one hour left." Keep entrances shut, spend batteries only when you must see, and use the same hide or swap if he comes in near dawn. At 6:00 a.m. the round ends on its own.
Recovery card
| Cue | Meaning | Response |
|---|---|---|
| Footsteps, scratching, or "Opening active." | He is working an entrance | Look at him, shut it, floodlight on |
| Lights die | He cut house power | Wait until he leaves, flip the outside fuses, confirm "power restored," re-sweep |
| "Breach active" | He is inside and the house goes dark | Hide unseen with the flashlight off, or leave and return after he exits |
| Flashlight meter empty | The equipped battery is spent | Equip a spare pickup |
| A teammate is down | The round continues | A living player uses a world totem, or the paid prompt if it is on screen |
This route is the default house. Snowbound Lodge uses the same siege with a snowy cabin, an outside power fix, and no confirmed closet. Read that map page before you queue it. Creature-specific notes are on the creature pages. The Locust has an on-screen rule that it does not breach lit areas. Do not assume every creature prints the same line.
